CYCLE OF LIFE TOUR 2021
This month we are proud to be supporting the Cycle of Life Tour 2021 in support of Vancouver Island Hospice.
The Cycle of Life Tour is a unique group cycling fundraiser that has raised over $1M for hospice care on Vancouver Island since 2011. While this year’s event will look a little bit different due to the pandemic, riders from across the island will still be pedalling hard to raise critical funds for patients and families in need of compassionate end-of-life.
Hospices on Vancouver Island provide compassionate and specialized care to ensure quality of life for those living with terminal illnesses. They also support the families with counselling and bereavement services. Despite the value of their care, however, no hospice on Vancouver Island is fully funded by the health care system.
Cyclists from across Vancouver Island will ride to support their local hospice society including:
- Victoria Hospice
- Cowichan Valley Hospice
- Comox Valley Hospice
- Campbell River Hospice
- Nanaimo Community
- Oceanside Hospice
- Salt Spring Island Hospice
As with all of our featured charities, partial proceeds from the sale of growler fills from our Growler Station (at the brewery) will be given to this awesome and important organization.
