Featured Charity: Bill’s Bag Lunches
BILL’S BAG LUNCHES
In support of our local community in Rock Bay, Bill’s Bag Lunches provides nutritious and delicious bag lunches on Fridays to the street community centred around CoolAid’s Rock Bay Landing.
Inspired by conversations with his young daughter about the reasons some people end up living on the street, Bill decided to give her a more human experience by making bag lunches and delivering them together. The lunches include a sandwich, drink, apple, and chips. Being a truly rewarding experience for both Bill and his daughter, Bill decided to develop this into a weekly program that is being supported in partnership with CoolAid Society.
There has been a lot of support for this initiative with many local Rock Bay businesses, individuals and residents getting involved. This list includes, but is not limited to:
