Hoyne Fiesta: A Little Celebration
Sometimes a little taste is all you need. That has been the feeling of late, as restrictions from the pandemic are slowly being peeled back and we’re getting a chance to remember what it felt like to be out and about, mingling with friends, enjoying a cold beer on a hot summer day amongst humans we may or may not know.
There’s light coming into the tunnel and because of this, we wanted to celebrate with a buoyant new beer: Fiesta. It’s a light, tropical, easy-drinking beer, crafted for sitting in the sun or on a patio with pals in the lazy, hazy, midsummer days. It’s a celebration of good things to come, to the diminishing impact of the pandemic and to summer itself.
“I wanted to do something that acknowledged a feeling of liberation after what has been a difficult time for everyone. I think we should celebrate the hard work that has been done and take a beat to enjoy summer.” ~ Sean Hoyne, Brewmaster
The label is a reflection of Sean’s sentiment. The artwork is from a California-based artist who, in his 70s, still has a vibrant joie de vivre that perfectly captures the feeling of summertime freedom. Fiesta is a lightly hazy beer, the colour of amber straw sunsets and has been brewed as a session ale, so you can keep enjoying it as the sun drifts through the sky before slipping beyond the horizon.
Fiesta is only here for a brief time, just enough to get a taste of what summer is meant to be—and after that, it’ll be gone until next year. Find it on draft and in 6-packs of 355ml cans.
